EU Commission in Tórshavn to highlight mobility

On 15 September 2016 the EU Commission hosted a special event in Tórshavn to focus on the opportunities for greater mobility and exchange between Faroese and other European researchers. The EU Commission provided information and advice on available resources through the Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions, with a particular focus on the launch of the 'Society and Enterprise' Panel under the Individual Fellowship call 2016.

The event was part of the EU Commission campaign “From Association to Participation” with the aim to help Associated Countries to improve their participation in submitted and successfully evaluated proposals.

The event was organized in collaboration with the Faroese Research Council which hosts the Horizon 2020 National Contact Point service and the EURAXESS portal.

Information on access for foreign researchers to the Faroese research institutions and community is compiled and updated on the EURAXESS Faroe Islands portal.
