The Faroes are now part of FP7
The Faroe Islands are now a part of the Seventh Framework Programme, as the association agreement between the Faroes and the European Union was accepted in The Faroese Parliament on Wednesday, May 12.
The Faroese research community has for a number of years expressed the wish to become part of the framework programmes. A number of the research institutions have already some experience with the European programmes and wish to enhance the participation on a larger scale.
