41 Applications for Research Grants

Research Council Faroe Islands has received a total of 41 applications for research grants from the Faroese Parliament and from the Work Life research programme at the annual deadline on February 15th. 15 of the applicants were for PhD projects.

The total amount applied for from both programmes was 38.6 MDKK. The Faroese Parliament has granted 9 MDKK for research in 2024 which is 1.5 MDKK higher than last year. Up to 2.5 MDKK are available for Work Life research.

25 Project Leaders are female, 16 are male.

Applicants can expect an answer no later than June 1st.
