IWRA: 1st Islands Water Congress

The International Water Resources Association’s (IWRA) 1^st Islands Water Congress will be held in Tórshavn, Faroe Islands, from the 4^th to 6^th September 2024.

The Islands Water Congress is a high-level global event organised in collaboration with a different island host every two years.For the first edition, the IWRA has partnered with the Faroes Geological Survey (Jarðfeingi)

The theme of the first edition will be “Freshwater and Islands: Administration, Collaboration and Innovation“
